Acknowledgement of funding received from the state government is required as a condition of funding.

The following guidelines have been developed to assist you in acknowledging the Queensland Government. All joint publicity is to be approved in advance by the department.

The table below lists the minimum acknowledgement correlating to funding amounts received from the Queensland Government through the department.

$200,000-$1 million	Include in media releases, on related websites and other materials related to the project.	Include on annual reports, websites, newsletters and in related advertisements. Minimum of one 500mm x 1000mm (height x width) permanent external sign displayed on building or free standing if there is no appropriate structure.
$1 million +	Include in media releases, on related websites and other materials related to the project.	Include on annual reports, newsletters, websites and in related advertisements.	Invite the minister responsible to attend and speak. Determine whether a plaque is required.	Minimum of one 900mm x 1800mm (height x width) permanent internal sign where appropriate. Minimum of one 900mm x 1800mm (height x width) external sign displayed on building or free standing if there is no appropriate structure.

Using the Queensland Government acknowledgement statement
If the project was partly funded by the Queensland Government the following statement should be used:

The (insert project name) is a joint initiative of (insert other organisation who provided funding) and the Queensland Government.

If the project was solely funded by the Queensland Government the following statement should be used:

The (insert project name) is an initiative of the Queensland Government.

Include statements in materials related to your project such as:
- annual report
- media releases
- speeches
- newsletters
- magazine articles
- advertising
- websites.

Conducting opening ceremonies

On completion of the project, the minister responsible - representing the Queensland Government - must be invited to officiate at any opening ceremony of the project. The minister, at his or her discretion, may nominate a departmental representative to officiate on his or her behalf.

Please provide the department with a minimum of 28 days prior notice of the planned opening ceremony.

Plaques must be created in line with the requirements, including the approval procedures, of section 10.6 of the Queensland Government Corporate Identity Manual ( 80 KB).

Flexible Funding Program
The Flexible Funding Program (FFP) is a component of the Community Development and Recovery Package, jointly funded by the Commonwealth and Queensland Governments under Category C of the NDRRA.

As funding recipients, local governments must acknowledge the joint financial contributions made by the Commonwealth and Queensland Governments.

The Department of Communities' Guidelines for Acknowledgement and Recognition of Funding Source provides guidance for local government to appropriately acknowledge these contributions on projects or products developed with funds provided through the Community Development and Recovery Package.

Funding recipients are required to place the Queensland Government logo in a prominent position on relevant promotional material including:
- signage
- brochures
- posters
- advertisements
- event invitations
- websites.
